Envío Cero / The Correspondence Almanac

Privacy Policy

At enviocero.com, reading a page and sending a note leave different records. This account separates the two so you can decide what to put into the Contact form. It concerns Envío Cero, The Correspondence Almanac.

A visit, without a letter

Opening a page sends ordinary connection information to the hosting and delivery systems: an IP address, the requested address, a time, browser details and sometimes a referring page. Such records can be used to deliver the page, investigate faults and protect the site. The custom theme serves its typefaces and images locally and does not add an advertising or analytics script. Other site software and the hosting layer can have their own technical records.

Inside a submitted note

The Contact form asks for a name, a reply email and a message. Submitting it sends those fields to the site’s administrative mailbox through the mail system. They are used to consider the enquiry, respond where appropriate and follow up a correction or rights concern. There is no upload facility. Do not include private addresses, unpublished letters, financial details or personal information about a correspondent who has not agreed to the disclosure.

The sorting check

The arithmetic question is checked on the server. A signed, short-lived challenge and WordPress nonce help reject altered or unwanted submissions. A hidden field catches some automated attempts. A salted hash of the immediate connection address is used for a ten-minute attempt limit; a challenge-use record lasts thirty minutes. These temporary records are stored server-side, not as tracking cookies. No external captcha company receives your answer.

Who may handle the records

The site operator and the providers needed for hosting, security and email may process information for those functions. Mail may be handled in a different country from the sender. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with a lawful requirement, investigate abuse or protect legal rights. Sending a correction does not give permission to publish your name or the private content of your message.

After the exchange

Mailbox correspondence can remain while an enquiry, correction or rights matter is being handled and afterwards where a record is reasonably needed. Hosting logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention settings. This form does not automatically delete mailbox messages on a fixed timetable; the brief anti-abuse records have the shorter periods described above. No website or mail route can promise absolute confidentiality.

Write about your own information

Use Contact and begin with “Privacy request” if you want to ask about, correct or seek deletion of information you supplied. Identify the earlier exchange without resending unnecessary sensitive material. Verification may be needed, and applicable law or a legitimate record-keeping requirement may limit deletion. Rights and complaint routes depend on your location; this page does not remove them.
